We proudly unveiled Romania's first-ever space event in partnership with Space for the Better World. This inspirational and educational event was possible because of the remarkable Romanian business community and the excellent partners who joined this incredible venture.
This groundbreaking initiative served as a testament to the fact that what may seem impossible can become possible!
For their first time visiting Romania, we welcomed NASA astronaut Nicole Stott, the 10th woman to conduct a spacewalk; she spent 104 days in space, and Aquanaut - 18 days living underwater at NEEMO and Blue Origin astronaut Sara Sabry, the first Egyptian, the first Arab woman and the first African woman in space.
Our event showcased Romania's potential and the power of unity in coming together to create inspiration and hope, especially for the new generation. The first two days at the University Politechnica Bucharest empowered and inspired over 25,000 parents and children through astronaut stories and skill-building activities. The third day at the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest focused on discussions presenting new opportunities, educational programs, and sustainable projects in Romania. Concluding with a gala celebrating Romanian astronaut Mr. Dumitru Prunariu, NASA Astronaut Nicole Stott, and Blue Origin Astronaut Sara Sabry, the event provided powerful insights, renewing encouragement to promote a positive mindset and boost self-confidence.
